Figure 8 represented the Buyer in the purchase of this South Echo Park duplex. The acquisition was the 2nd part of a creative solution for our production catering client.
After searching for many months with other agents for a commercial kitchen, the client was referred to us. Within a week, we found an operating kitchen on the commercial corridor of Glendale Blvd between Echo Park and DTLA, exactly were the client wanted to be located. The only problem being the the lack of any parking. Quickly we were able to source a duplex directly off the back alley that had been sitting on them market, unwanted by investors due to tenant issues. Figure 8 stepped in and negotiated with the existing tenant, allowing both units to be delivered vacant. The duplex will now provide corporate housing for our client and the large lot will provide parking for his delivery trucks and employees.
This transaction is a great example Figure 8's capabilities and creative thinking.
